.::The Field::.

It's the middle of the day, and as you move through the forest on your scruffy palomino pony, you find yourself growing increasingly hungry. Nudging her forwards with rumble of hunger, you keep your eyes much more alert than they had been before, watching for the place you both are heading to. Casting your gaze over the ground for a pleasant place to eat, you urge the little palomino into a canter. She takes you through tall silver-barked trees, past deer, rabbit and wild unicorns, and even by great rocks jutting from the ground. Finally, though, you arive at a place you both deem worthy of stopping. It is a field with trees on one side, and a massive stone face to the other side. You smile and slide from the pony's bare back, moving to sit on a small, flat tree stump. After sipping sweet water from your flask, and nibbling on some dandilion shoots, you fish out from your pack a large cakey bread and some hard cheese. Setting them next to you, you start to prepare your small feast. For some reason, you find yourself in high spirits, and you break out in jolly tune, humming every few words.

"Bread an' cheese,
A fancy feast! for one who's quite as I!
A supper of e'ery thing to imagine.
To eat and sing this rhyme!

Golden meals taste
not near as good
as ever this did taste!
For food prepared like this, is hard to comeby and harder to miss!"

After several more patheticly sad-sounding songs, you finish your meal, and glance around. First to the mountain, then to the tr...wait a moment... why was the cave cut into the face of the rock glowing so? you hesitantly get up, whistle to your pony, and head over there. A flickering light seems to come from deep within the cave, and you hesitantly step inside.

"H...h...hello?"

The cave holds no echo, but you feel as if something heard your voice. Glancing at the cave wall, you notice names painted on the wall. Glancing over the roughly painted words, you notice arrows pointing to various cave branch-offs. The pony at the entrance whinnies nervously as you as you wander further into the cave, following one of the arrows
