Vampire/Were plot

Okay, so many, many years into the future, the werefolk and vampirens have rule of the earth. Every human has been subdued, and their race has longsince lost the upper edge. 100 years past, the vampirens and werefolk wrote the treaty of Kilzerdth, and had divided the globe and it's continents in half; each race lived unto themselves, keeping humans as slaves, and all was at peace. As such treaties always go, however, as the months turn into years and past decades, things change. The humans have been now reduced to the status of a animal, and are mass bred not only for slavery, but for food and other leasure things. The human languages were lost among them, and the humans became a race silent save for primitive noises. The humans, though, have been a source of disruption for the werefolk. The population of the Weres has exceeded the availability of their food sources, and now the Weres are starving.
That was when the first raid started: a troop of Werebeasts attacking a vampiren trading ship and stealing a new herd of humans, and that was the begining of the war. Within a year, full troops on either side were built. High-tech laser pistols were forged, and all the time new soldiers were trained. As the war progressed, Vampires turned werefolk, and equally, the werefolk turned the vampires--- a war that is ridding the world of the pureblooded of either race. The Weres have started developing centers that quickly but painfully turn Vampires into Weres, and at those centers weres turned into vampires have started being experimented on for cures. Trucks of Vampirens are captured with sleeping-gas bombs, and are sent to the Were's cities... and from the numbers, it looks like the Werefolk are winning. The leader of the Vampires has one desperate question: What can a steadilly decreasing race of undead do to save themselves from the near determined doom? the answer is simple... make one final attempt to attack the other side... and then beg for mercy.
